2. Collection of personal data
When you visit our website, we automatically collect personal data about you and your use of the website. The personal data collected by us may include, for instance, your name, address, your email address, phone number, information about your online purchase, payment method and data about your navigation on the website e.g. search terms you use in the website, your IP-address etc.
All data provided by you is gathered securely through the SSL (SecureSockets Layer). SSL is a protocol that encrypts your data into codes so that your data is kept secure while being transmitted via the internet. Only your bank has access to your data.
In connection with the submission of your data it will always be stated whether the submission is voluntary or necessary for completing the desired action, such as the completion of a transaction in our webshop.

If you use your email address in more that one of the above cases, your personal data will only be collected and registered in one place. This way your information is already stores when you shop at us, and you will not receive the same marketing material from MarMar Copenhagen more than once.

MarMar Copenhagen keeps statistics about which areas of the site our users visit and which products the users prefer. This data does not contain personal data. Knowledge about the users’ use of the website is gained with help from the collected data. This information is used to improve the website.
We do use data about how our users navigate, to better understand how our users use www.marmar.dk and from that we try to improve the website. We are not able to see where you come from or where you are going on the internet after you leave our site. Furthermore, we collect information about what products our users, as a unit, prefers. This information is also used to improve the website. We do not sell or otherwise disclose information about how our users navigate and use our website. We do not sell or disclose information about your purchase history to third party.
4. Transfer to other data controllers
In general, we do not transfer your personal data to a third party without your consent. Your personal data is only disclosed to partners of MarMar Copenhagen who deliver services on behalf of MarMar Copenhagen, for example website agencies that optimize the website, our warehouse partner and shipping company who manages the delivery of your order, payment service providers for your payment etc. These partners only process the personal data on behalf of MarMar Copenhagen and in accordance with the instructions of MarMar Copenhagen. Under specific circumstances and with reference to legislation, it might be necessary to transfer information to public, authorities or the police. For example, information may be disclosed to the police in case of suspicion of credit card fraud.
5. Deletion of personal data
We will delete your personal data when we no longer need to process them in relation to one or more of the purposes set out. However, data may be processed and stored for a longer period of time in anonymized form. Information collected when you have subscribed our newsletter is deleted when you have withdrawn your consent to receive the newsletter.
With regard to information collected in connection with purchases on our website, we will generally delete this information after five years following the end of the calendar year in which you made your purchase.
We have implemented security measures to ensure that our internal procedures meet our high security policy standards. Accordingly, we strive to protect the quality and integrity of your personal data.
8. Your rights
You are entitled at any time to be informed of the personal data, which we process about you and to receive a copy of the personal data. If you wish to receive a copy of your personal data you
can send us a request at firstname.lastname@example.org. We may ask you to send us documentation showing that you are who you claim to be.
Furthermore, you have the right to have your personal data rectified. If you become aware of any incorrect information about you please contact us, so that we can correct the information. If you have a MarMar Copenhagen account, you can edit your personal data under your account.
You have the right to get all your personal data erased or blocked according to the rules. In certain situations, we cannot erase your personal data e.g. if you have an ongoing matter with Customer Service, your have an uncompleted order in our system etc.
You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data for direct marketing including profiling analysis carried out for direct marketing purposes.
9. Links to other websites etc.
Our website may contain links to other websites or to integrated sites. We are not responsible for the contents of the websites of the other companies or for the practices of such companies regarding the collection of personal data. When you visit other websites, you should read their policies on the protection of personal data or other relevant policies.
10. Amendment of data etc.
We take data protection very seriously. If you want us to update, amend or delete the personal data that we have recorded about your, wish to get access to the data being processed about you, or if you have any questions concerning the above guidelines, you may contact us at email@example.com.

Returns & Exchanges
We accept returns within 14 days after receipt of order. Please fill out the return form provided by us and include it in the return package. You can find the return form here: Download return slip
The items must be returned unused and in original condition and packaging. Therefore, we do not accept returns without hangtags. We reserve the right to reject a return if the items have signs of use.
As soon as we have received and accepted the returned items, the refund will be issued. Please note the refund will be credited to the credit card originally used for purchase of the items, minus taxes or import duties incurred, if any. The original shipping charges will not be refunded unless the entire order is returned.
Please note that it can take up to 10 business days for the refund to appear in your account. We do not accept responsibility for returned items lost in shipping. The return is at your own risk and own expense, and therefore, we recommend that you keep a postage receipt with tracking number to prove that the package was sent. Please note that you are responsible for the return expenses.
The items are your responsibility until they reach our warehouse. Please make sure the returned items are packed safely to prevent any damage to the products. Please note that in case you do not collect your package it will be returned to us, in which case freight expenses will be deducted from the amount credited to you.
Att. MarMar Copenhagen, webshop return
Be aware that MarMar Copenhagen does not exchange items, therefore, if you wish to change your purchase to e.g. a different size, color or style, please do so by placing a new order on our webshop.
Orders purchased in the period 1st December to 24th December can be returned until January 14th the following year.
Shipping & Delivery
We ship worldwide and all orders are sent as packages making it possible to track them in case of any problems. Orders in Denmark are sent by PostNord and orders to EU countries and countries outside the EU, will be sent by e.g. GLS, DHL, FedEx or UPS. Please note that we only ship to an access- /collection point.
At MarMar Copenhagen we strive for a quick delivery, and therefore all orders placed before 12.00 am are shipped the same day. Your order will be delivered Monday to Friday. We do not ship orders on weekends and public holidays. These orders will be processed on the following business day. The time of delivery depends on the country in which the delivery takes place and the carrier used.
In sale periods, we are very busy and will do our best to dispatch orders within 1-3 working days from the time your order is placed. When your order has been sent, you will receive an email directly from our warehouse with a tracking number. MarMar Copenhagen cannot be held responsible for any delays with the shipping company or local customs. Please track your package with the courier service. You are always welcome to contact us to help you track your order. Please note that depending on your order and country, you will be liable to pay local taxes and import duties on receipt of your order, for which MarMar Copenhagen cannot be held responsible.

Our terms and conditions apply when you order items from our website, www.marmar.dk. Therefore, we advise you to read through all below mentioned terms and conditions before you start shopping on marmar.dk. If you do not understand parts of the terms and conditions, we recommend that you contact customer service before you start shopping on the website. You can contact customer service at email@example.com.
The terms and conditions may be updated from time to time, and we therefore, ask you to accept the terms and conditions every time you shop with us. If you do not accept the terms and conditions, you cannot order on our website.
The webshop is open 24 hours a day – 7 days a week. We do our best to update the website and to ensure that prices, offers, descriptions and other information are correct. Typographical errors and errors in prices, offers, descriptions and other information may occur, and sometimes we discover that the prices on items are incorrect.
Please note the website might temporarily be down for maintenance. To the extent possible, we try to perform such maintenance services during the night.
Among other things, we reserve the rights to cancel an order in one of the following situations:

The prices on the website are shown in the currency applicable to your country. Please use the function "country selector" at the top of the website if you want to change your country selection (Denmark, International or Europe).
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. Prices are shown in following currency; DKK / EUR / USD and are inclusive 25% Danish VAT.
Customers shopping from a country outside EU must accept local taxes and duties may be added for which MarMar Copenhagen cannot be held responsible.
We accept the following credit cards:
Visa, VisaDankort, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, American Express, EURO/MasterCard, MasterCard Debit and Maestro.
The payment will not be drawn from your card until your order leaves our warehouse. No credit card fees are charged by us. Please note that it is not possible for us to charge a higher amount than the one approved by you. Payment is processed via QuickPay system through a Nets approved and certified secure payment solution.
All items are quality controlled and checked for any faults before they are dispatched to you. Should you receive an item that is not in a perfect condition, please contact us immediately. Please note that the risk of loss of or damage to the items passes to you after delivery. If the package appears to be damaged, you should refuse to receive it.
Items are classified as faulty if they are received damaged, or where a manufacturing fault occurs, within 24 months of purchase. Please note that items that are damaged as a result of ordinary wear and tear are not considered to be faulty.
Where possible, we will offer to repair faulty items. If you would like to exchange your item, please be aware that we can only replace it for the same product in the same size, subject to availability. RIGHT TO COMPLAIN

You may also submit a complaint about items purchased from us to the Danish Dispute Resolution Institute, Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark. It is also possible to submit a complaint online via www.forbrug.dk.

CHOICE OF LAW AND JURISDICTION
Any contracts concluded between us using these terms and conditions are governed by Danish law. Any dispute which may arise in connection with our contract, including its existence or validity, must be brought before a competent court in Denmark. As a consumer you may bring proceedings against us in the courts for the place where you are domiciled.
